Before you take off on a great car journey take time to check the following:
- Vehicle servicing is up to date
- Tyres are correctly inflated and in good condition including the spare
- Lights are working
- Windscreen wiper blades are working and not deteriorated from Territory weather conditions
- Fluid levels are topped up, including your brake fluid, coolant, oil and power steering fluid
- Car Insurance and Motor Registration is up to date
Once on the road, don’t forget to:
- Share the driving
- Drive to the conditions of the road, be careful in bad weather
- Carry plenty of water
- Let someone know where you are going and expected time of arrival.
